Speaking at a London consortium of businessmen last night Gordon Brown claimed that the Death Star would have the potential to destroy the alliance's friends on planet Alderon and urged leaders not to underestimate the power of the Dark Side of the Force.
At a meal later when a colleague Ruth Kelly MP challenged him on the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill and its unethical content, Brown replied sharply, "Ruth, you don't understand the power of the Dark Side. Ah, I sense you have a sister. If you shall not be turned to the Dark Side then perhaps she will be."
