If every UK citizen threw away their computer, the State would be horrified.
If every UK citizen refused abortion and threw away their artificial contraception, the State would be apoplectic with rage.
If all three of these events took place, or perhaps even only one, then at least one of these products, if not all, would be made mandatory. That's how into your 'rights' the State in the United Kingdom really is.
