Balls's PSHE Sex Education Proposals Get 'Washed Up '

The Labour Government were today forced to engage in a cleaning operation in response to what had 'washed up' on the Thames.

As BBC News so delightfully reports, Ed Balls has been forced to drop the Government's now notorious and frankly rather filthy school sex education proposals, which had come straight from the sewer and very nearly made it onto the Statute book.

Thanks for this humiliating defeat for Balls, must go, of course, to the Catholic Education Service and senior figures in the Church hierachy such as Bishop Malcolm MacMahon and Archbishop Vincent Nichols, who both opposed the Bill vociferously from the very day the words, "Would you like to sell your religion down the Thames?", fell from the lips of the Children, Families and Schools Secretary and into the ears of Oona Stannard.

Furthermore, it looks like the Church has the Conservative Party and vehement campaigners against the Bill in the Lords such as Lord Alton to thank, as well as the sterling efforts of pro-life campaigners like John Smeaton for opposing the parts of the Children, Families and Schools Bill which would have forced Catholic schools to give children access to information on abortion services and contraception as well as lessons in homosexuality, how to do it well and how not to say anything offensive about it. My hope now is that the most anti-Christian, anti-Life, anti-Liberty and anti-Freedom party since the Nazis gets flushed out of Number 10 and floats out to sea come May 6th 2010.
