Seasons greetings!

It's that time of year! Just 12 days until Christmas, and Groggy plans to celebrate in inimitable fashion. Expect reviews of at least a few Christmas-themed movies in the coming weeks. Nothing focuses a blog more than an arbitrary theme!

Last year I experimented with Best and Worst lists for both movies and books. Considering the blog's topic, the movie list is a given. I'll give the book side of things some thought (have read a lot this past year; categories and ratings require more effort), and throw in a TV-related piece if time allows.

Expect the lists, anyway, after the New Year. Despite what internet list makers tend to think, a year ends on December 31st, not before.
