In case you haven't heard, James Arness, best known as Marshal Dillon on TV's Gunsmoke, passed away today at the age of 88. I've only seen Gunsmoke a few times, but I like him well-enough in his film work, especially Them!
I apologize for falling behind on my Memorial Day marathon, but a few things have come up this week. Stay tuned for a review of All Quiet on the Western Front before I move on to some non-war films.
